At Incarnation, worship is the work of the whole community.
We meet weekly for Sunday Worship at 8:30 AM in the Chapel (Said service) and 10:00 AM in the worship space (Contemporary service). We enjoy a warm, informal atmosphere and dress for comfort. We encourage people to assist in many ways (see Our Way and Our Care).
We like to experiment with spiritual expression through our worship. We are innovative and committed to looking for new ways to express God’s presence in our services. A Worship Committee, comprised of the rector and members of the community, meet regularly to plan the worship experience. The service follows the Anglican Order of Service, but includes many "custom" components that make the Incarnation experience unique.
Our 10:00 AM service incorporates many types of music. We take care to choose or create songs that relate to the day’s theme, so that the music helps set the mood for the service. The service comprises congregational singing, with the choir singing some pieces on their own.
8:30 AM Sunday Service
A quiet reflective service in our chapel. There is no nursery or children's church, but children are welcome to attend the service.
10:00 AM Sunday Service
A contemporary service with music in our worship space. There is a volunteer staffed nursery for children up to the age of three, and a fun and educational Children's Church for ages 4 and up. Children are also welcome to remain in the service.
8:00 PM Contemplative Fire
(3rd Sunday evening of the month). The response to this has been very encouraging. We continue to see new faces at each meeting and look forward to growing this community. Each meeting begins with a communal sharing of food followed by quiet and intentional reflection in the gathering area. For more information, please contact Michael. All are welcome.
